Hi! I'm Daisy, I'm currently finishing my PGCE in Secondary English education, but I have many other relevant qualifications when it comes to caring for your children.
Currently, I can only work alongside my degree, so will be unlikely to be available on a regular basis - but I'd love to open communication with you about future opportunities! I'm open for evening and weekend babysitting, as well as private tutoring.
Let me tell you a little about myself, so that you know you're in safe hands:
I love being a teacher in London, and I've had the opportunity to be in the education/childcare field for over ten years now. Before my PGCE, I was a nanny to families in North London. I have had experience with children as young as two, including happy changes and basic childcare.
I was a TEFL tutor in Poland from 2020 to 2021, after which I came back to the UK to travel around as an Outdoor Activity Instructor. I progressed to management, where I became a qualified First Aid Basic Life Saving 4-hour assessor. I have taught everything from English, to archery, fencing, abseiling, zipwire, art, design, computing, fashion design - I could go on!
I have a Level 3 in education & training, First Aid at Work and a clean DBS. I am also working towards my Level 3 in Home-Based Childcare (Nannying specialism). My BA was in VFX - so I'm very computer savvy and have also taught this to teenagers!
