About Me
I am a Ofsted registered childminder based in Downley, High Wycombe. I will be offering real experiences with natural resources to the children. This will be achieved by following the Montessori, Wanderlust (Hygge) and Curiosity approaches.
My Experience
I have a wealth of experience and have spent over 30 years working in education, the majority of those have been in managerial roles in Early Years settings. I have also had a variety of experiences working as a Learning Support Assistant where I have worked alongside a variety of SEN agencies in Primary schools. I have an International Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy and a Degree in Educational Practice.
My Qualifications
Foundation Degree in Educational Practice
International Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy
NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education
Paediatric First Aid
Safeguarding for the Designated Safeguarding Lead in Early Years
Full DBS
(I also attend regular courses to ensure I am fully up to date with all legislation)

I have availability from September 2024.
My hours are 8am to 4pm term time only.

Leah looked after our 18 month old son and he absolutely adored her! She was really warm and nurturing and she took her time to get to know him to help him settle.
