About Me
My name is Donna welcome to Little Sunshine and Sparkles Daycare.
I live in Coven, South Staffordshire with my husband and our tortoise Boris. I'm a Ofsted registered childminder and first aid trained , I plan to work closely with my step daughter who is also a Ofsted registered childminder for the last ten years where I have gained a great amount of experience.
I can offer your child an enriching safe home environment where they can grow and develop. I enjoy taking the children out and about to wider their learning opportunities and social skills. I have a secure child friendly garden with Astro turf so children can go outside in all weather and I have a dedicated play room. I strive to provide a childminder routine and environment that parents would normally provide for their children such as free and stimulating play, visits to toddler groups, parks & shops, cooking / baking and crafts.
My home from home setting is perfect for families looking for a personal childcare experience with a small ratio of children this will enable for myself the parents and children to build excellent relationships.
My passion is working with children and look forward to building a home day-care for the local community.
My Experience
i am a stepmom and I have a lot of experience working with children of all ages, I am always updating and participating in new training to make sure i have good knowledge on all aspects of childrens welfare and development , I am ofsted registered and have completed courses in Safeguarding Children, Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and Paediatric First Aid.
