My Experience

I have 2 grown up children that are my world. We are very close and I do everything in my power to make them happy. Married for 28 years and in need of a change in working life. I have a child development o level from many many years ago but still have considerable experience with children within the family. We used to run a bouncy castle business and I have trudged through 3 ft of snow in order not to dissapoint a 6 year old on their birthday. We used to do fetes and parties and I really miss it. Sadly my knackered back means I can no longer lift the heavy kit we used to have but am otherwise in good health. We used to have dbs check which will now be expired but have no problem obtaining another or you doing any checks you feel necessary. At the end of the day your child is your most treasured love in the world and you have to leave them with the right person. I was very fortunate with my own children, I had my mum to help who I sadly lost last year. I'm available each morning, and usually work 1 till 7 pm although I'm on the sick at the moment. Nothing physical, I am logging a complaint against bullying in the workplace. Sadly I have had issues with some individuals at work which has repeatedly been unresolved so I have had to go further with it. Not something I want to do but it cannot continue.

My Qualifications

Very old o level in childcare! But am will to do any relevant course if I were to get any interest in any way.

My Availability

I can do most days either in your home or mine. We do have a dog and 2 cats but they are well behaved and I take pride in my home. Am happy to meet to see if I am a suitable candidate for your needs. Totally understand if you need someone with current qualifications, my daughter is a deputy manager of a children's nursery. She has said I need to be properly registered which can be arranged if I were to get any interest. Sometimes age and experience are just as valuable as anything written on paper! I have looked after neighbours children in the past, done school pick ups etc . These children are now grown ups and moved away. Their mum was a single parent who worked away a lot. She would ring me and I would often go to her rescue last minute. Her kids were friends with mine and at times practically lived here. They lived 8 doors down and moved away to Peterborough some years ago. I am reliable, honest and trusted. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

15 pounds an hour. 20 for evening and weekend or overnight.
