My Requirements

We're looking for a nanny to help us during the day and look after our gorgeous baby girl, Uma. Uma is almost 3 months old.

We’re looking for a nanny primarily, but we’d also like some housekeeping & personal assistance too. Bonus points if you like cooking too.

We are looking for someone who is/has:
- Easy going, with a common sense, down-to-earth attitude to babies and childcare
- Experience with newborns, but also open to experimenting new ideas and routines with Uma and us
- Outdoorsy & loves animals
- You’ll take Frida, our sweet cocker spaniel, on walks to the park, and we have two sweet cats in the house
- We always use a carrier to take Uma around, we don’t have a pram yet
- Elise rides horses, so you’d be able to come along to the stables with Uma too, or go for walks in the countryside whilst she’s riding, if you wanted to
- Organised & Proactive
- We’d love to see you being proactive in Uma’s development - such as suggesting play activities or groups / sessions to take her to
- Be proactive around the house (keeping things tidy & clean, taking laundry out & putting away, running small errands such as picking up bread or taking an item to the post office)
- We believe a good nanny thinks about how to make themselves indispensable, so if someone wanted to take on some personal assistant tasks for us too, we’d really appreciate it, such as:
- Managing the Ocado order every couple of weeks
- Managing our cleaner
- Organising & booking appointments
- Looking for a long term role
- We’d like to work with someone as part of the family, so someone we get along with is really important
- Has a driving licence
- Not essential immediately, but having the ability to drive Uma in our car could be useful in future
- Flexible on time, but professional & reliable
- We’re looking for 5-6h/day at the moment (9am - 2/3pm), but sometimes we might need an extra hour last min. And some hours in the evenings/weekends too.
- We really value reliability and punctuality - we need this, so that we can be reliable for our teams and our work
- English speaking, but bonus points if you also speak Italian
- As GL is Italian, we’d like Uma to learn both languages

Finally, Uma really is the most gorgeous, happy baby (and I’m not just saying that because I’m her Mama!). She’s very calm, smiley and takes everything in her stride. So for the right person, I believe this is a fantastic opportunity and a role that you’ll absolutely love. We’re excited to meet you!
