My Experience
I am from São Paulo, Brazil. I started to have experience with kids since I was really young, I always loved being around kids and taking care of them. I always took care of cousins and children of friends. I have two specific cousins, Henrique and Rebeca who I used to take care since they were babies. I would change their nappies, feed them, do activities and also always taught them English which is something that they used to love. Henrique today is 15 years old and Rebeca is 12 years old. ?I lived in Paris for one year and over there I used to babysit for a lovely American family. There were three kids, Collin (10 months), Serena (2 years old) and Viona (5 years old). After living in Paris I moved to Ireland (Dublin) to be an au pair. There I looked after three kids aswell, Luke (15 months old), James (3 years old) and Sophie (5 years old). The routine was to help with breakfast, taking them to the nursery and picking them up, help with dinner and bedtime. With the toddlers we would do activities, playing, going to the park. With the baby we would also play I would feed him, put him down for naps, change his nappies. After this experience in Dublin I moved to England (London) to also be an au pair. There I looked after two lovely girls, Robyn (16 months old) and Ellie (3 years old). Ellie went to the nursery from Monday to Thursday and I would have them both every Friday, where I fed them, we would do activities, playing, we would go to the park. I used to spend more time with Robyn, from Monday to Friday I spent the whole day with her, where I fed her breakfast, lunch, snacks, I put her down for nap, would change her nappies, we went to the park and playgroups.
I just got back from Brazil after a vacation there, and I came back to London to be an aupair again! I'm looking after an adorable 10 month old baby girl named Martha. I stay with her on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Feeding her, going to playgroups, changing her nappies, playing.
