About Me

We are sisters Torie (40) & Rachel (32) highly qualified Nursery Nurses with a vast experience of working with children and are the proud owners of Little Foals Home nursery. We are registered childminders through an Outstanding childminding agency.

Our home has the luxury of having a designated indoor space and a large enclosed outdoor space with lots of equipment to enhance their learning. We have a bathroom in the nursery with a changing area for nappies, a toilet with steps and rails and an accessible sink to promote child self care. We encourage good oral hygiene with the children.

We have an all weather area creating some shelter on rainy days.

We are a warm-hearted home setting and it is our passion to nurture children’s creativity and support your child to reach their full potential whilst exploring through play based learning. We provide a happy, healthy and safe learning environment for children from 6 months. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework for childminders and use the Development Matters to ensure all children are offered next steps in their learning. We promote all 7 areas of learning. We have a language rich environment to encourage communication. We provide adult led activities as well as following children’s interests to engage and enhance child development. We use careful observation to continually plan next steps in your child’s learning journey. These precious moments will be recorded in your childs learning journal.

We are in a semi-rural area with lots of open spaces around us, giving us opportunities to explore the great outdoors. We have full driving licences, business car insurance and will enjoy regular days out with the children such as local community groups, libraries and green spaces.
