Im a part time art educator (for children and adults)
I am a very positive and creative person with a huge passion for caring for and supporting children and young people with additional mental health and learning support needs. I find so much joy in helping others, especially through creative practices such as art and music. I am extremely empathetic and understanding, with lots of training and experience around trauma, SEN, neurodivergence and mental health in children and young people.
I have lots of hobbies such as gardening, baking, making, drumming, bouldering as well as just being creative in any way possible.
My Experience
I have 6+ years experience in working with children and young people aged 2-19, a thorough understanding of Autism, ADHD, PDA, OCD, Mental health difficulties and eating disorders in children and young people, complex trauma informed work with children and young people, a deep sense of empathy and understanding towards neurodivergence and mental health, an overwhelmingly positive and fun approach to every day and every activity, the ability to maintain authority over those in my care as well as a detailed understanding of safeguarding.

My Availability
I work part time as an art educator so I have semi-limited availablity; during term times I work Thursday evenings, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (during half terms and holidays my availability varies considerably due to my job offering additional classes ) Outside of these times I am generally available so please do get in touch if you are looking for any ad-hoc care/ babysitting / emergency child care etc
