My Requirements

This fun loving and creative family of five are looking for a proactive and organised Family PA, Monday-Friday, 25 hours per week.

The busy household is home to a friendly family with 3 children aged between 12 and 6 and pets including 4 dogs, 2 cats and horses. Other staff such as grooms, gardeners and a cleaner are also employed. The family are looking for a hardworking, self-starter who can hit the ground running and assist the family on a day-to-day basis with their busy life. You will be responsible for all typical housekeeping duties, such as, laundry, ironing, some cleaning, liaising with contractors, feeding the pets (not horses) and be able to housesit a few weeks of the year, although this will be shared with other members of staff. Good experience with childcare would be beneficial to assist with babysitting and school runs.

The ideal candidate will be fun, unflappable, highly professional, a good communicator and have a muck in attitude. Organisation and tidiness is key to enable the busy household to run smoothly. The core hours will be 9am-2pm but some flexibility would be great to help with school runs on some days so maybe work an afternoon instead of the morning. The family do have a holiday home in France so if someone is willing to travel with the family that would be a bonus but it is not essential. Some help with cooking family meals would be great too. This is a lovely varied role where they are looking for someone that is able to use their initiative and be an all rounder.

The children are all at full time school about 30 minutes drive away. The youngest is arty, loves to be engaged with and riding her ponies, the eldest is a charming boy who loves his sport and playing fortnite, the middle child enjoys his sport too but also likes to have his own space and playing one to one with someone. There could be more hours in the school holidays or working your hours over 3 days instead of 5. Someone who can be flexible would be preferred.
