My Experience

My Nannying experience:

I was a nanny for a little boy from the age of 1 until he started Nursery. We created brilliant memories and I helped him with his cognitive development which was an important target. I achieved this by communicating constantly with the parents to gain an understanding of what they wanted us to work on and then creating new activities weekly with a focus on that particular area.

I was a nanny for a young boy, aged 5. He had additional needs and required further support. I worked closely with his Mum to understand and provide the correct care needed. I had to ensure I was communicating clearly to avoid confusion and incorporate fun activities to keep him engaged.

I was a regular evening babysitter and nanny for a 2 year old boy and his 6 month old sister. This involved looking after the baby once the little boy had been bathed and put to bed. This included night feeds, comforting her and entertaining her between sleeps. It was very important for me to keep the parents updated regularly whilst they were out, especially due to the child age.

I was an after school nanny for a a little girl from the age of 2 until 3. I would collect her from Nursery and carry out her evening routine with her. This included providing her with a meal at dinner time, playing games, bathing her and getting her ready for bed.

I was a summer holiday nanny for a 4 year old girl and her 18 month old brother. This included full days care, involving lost of fun and exciting activities to ensure the children both enjoyed their summer holidays. I was responsible for preparing and feeding them both breakfast and lunch each day. We also went on many adventures as both children were very fond of animals and loved taking trips to farms and animal shelters.

My Qualifications

Level 3 diploma in Business Management
CACHE Level 2 Childcare qualification
Paediatric first aid trained
Enhanced DBS

My Fees

• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (net)
• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

Hourly rates for nannying depend on Location, how many children you have and your requirements.
