My Summary

My Experience

I have had many experiences working with children of all ages. I have worked in Several nurseries since I first started work at age 16. I have spent thousands of hours working one to one with children in primary school settings.

I have worked one to one with a child who has global developmental delay, autism, OCD, and an array of other complex needs.

I have worked with an array of ages from reception all the way up to year 6, I spent most of my time with the early years children.

I have worked in a special educational needs school working closely with an array of different disabilities.

I have been a special educational needs nanny since September 2023. Working closely with young children.

I have experience preparing and cooking healthy balanced meals/ lunches for an array of ages.


I have also worked very closely with children who experinace mental health and learning difficulties. I am extremely passionate about children. I thrive to make their learning journeys individual and educational.

I am reliable, trustworthy and nothing phases me, in fact I like to throw myself in at the deep end. I strongly believe in giving all children equal opportunities. Adapting activities according to the children’s capabilities.

No adaptation is too big or too much trouble. My goal is that the children are learning but also enjoying themselves!

I have grown up with many family members all with different special educational needs. Such as Asperger’s syndrome, Autism, ADHD,OCD, Tourette’s syndrome, Hearing impairment, Dyslexia and Dyscalculia. Growing up around my family members has allowed me to become aware of the specific needs each member has to face, what triggers they have and how I can help lessen the stresses for them.

My Qualifications

I have received a merit in Level 2 Applied science which is equivalent to 3 C grade GCSEs.

I have received a 4 in my English GCSE. (Equivalent to C grade GCSE)

I received an A* in Child development GCSE. Which is equivalent to a level 3 in childcare.

I received a 4 in my maths GCSE. ( Equivalent to a C grade GCSE)

I am paediatric first aid trained with St John’s ambulance.

I am currently studying part time with The open university a BH (honors) Childhood and youth studies.

I have had sign along training. ( a form of Sign language)

I have had TAC-PAC training.

I have extensive experience with PECs and Proloque to go.

I have a full clean UK driving license.

I have a passport and I am free to travel.

I have a DBS check and I am on the update service.

I am an Ofstead registered Nanny.

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
