About Me
Hello, my name is Lara and I'm an Ofsted registered childminder in Crowborough. I live with my 3 children (all school age) and our small friendly dog.
My main aim is to provide a safe, fun, nurturing, 'learn through play' environment for little ones where they can become the best versions of themselves; happy, healthy and well rounded little humans! Most days we go out to visit local parks, playgroups, the library or outdoor walks, as well as doing home based activities and play.
I believe that a smaller, home based setting benefits very young children the most as they gradually build up confidence and the necessary social skills to join a larger nursery setting and eventually school.

My Experience
Mother of 3 children (18, 16, 7) and 1 fur baby. Started childminding in September 2023, after completing all the necessary training, first aid and safeguarding qualifications necessary to provide childcare in Early Years. I'm also a qualified Nutritional Therapist (non-practising).

All the training and qualifications required by Ofsted to provide Early Years education for under 5s.

Lara provided childcare for my little girl from the age of 1and a half until she turned 3 as well as holiday care for my 6 year old. I cannot recommended Lara enough, she is caring and kind. She provides a safe and exciting environment for little ones to thrive in. Esther was always full of story's when she got home of all the lovely activities she had done in her days. It was a joy for us to be able to send her in happy each morning. River was always excited when she knew she was going to be spending the day with Lara.
If you are looking for a childminder who will be kind and caring and provide a stimulating environment, then Lara is the one you should go for.
Lara was also very communicative, providing daily updates and always quick to answer any questions I had, and organised.
I cannot thank her enough for the care she provided for both my daughters.
