About Me
My name is Abigail, a 31-year-old speech and language therapy worker currently studying a master's degree in speech and language therapy. I can offer sessions within this area, general tutoring or babysitting. I am a kind, caring, reliable individual who loves working and spending time with children. I am an effective communicator and can easily slot into whichever routine is required. My hobbies include baking/cooking, reading, learning foreign languages and travel.
My Experience
I have years of experience providing support and care to children. My experience includes working as a speech and language therapy assistant and SEN support in a primary school. Within this post, I completed numerous training sessions on children’s behaviour, SEN and supporting children with English as an additional language. I have provided literacy and phonics tutoring and have previously taught English as a foreign language in France, Italy and Morocco. My studies have involved working within the NHS in an integrated care centre providing speech and language therapy for children. I have tutored and babysat for multiple clients and have multiple references that can be supplied.
My Qualifications
I have an enhanced DBS check, BA in French and Italian studies and I am half way through an MSC in Speech and Language Therapy.
My Availability
I am available most afternoons, evenings and weekends. I can also be available during the day depending on my lectures at university.
