Hi ! I'm an outdoorsy, active, and artistic person and love having fun with everything I do. I am a 24yr old who has studied fine arts with 10 years experience in babysitting/childcare. I love dance, musical theatre, camping, and cats !
As a neurodivergent person, I want to ensure that children who are neurodivergent, disabled, and struggle with their mental health have an experience of child care that is comfortable and enjoyable. I know how important having time to yourself, as a couple, to work, or to catch up on errands is, and I provide childcare that makes the time away from parents/caregivers as fun as possible.
Every person is different, which is why I leave my expectations behind me, and enter into every relationship wanting to learn from each person how I help them in the ways that promote their happiness and growth. I love using my creativity to provoke thought and spark curiosity for new ways to help each individual.
My Experience
I have previously cared for children who are neurodivergent and have special education needs, and have had previous experience providing learning support in classroom environments through volunteer positions. I have also helped homeschool children with dyslexia, phonics focused learning, and adhd during lockdowns.
I am also neurodivergent and feel that lived experience is one of the most important factors as it allows children to feel seen and heard by someone who has faced challenges of similar or the same nature.
I am experienced in cleaning and can also provide housekeeping services.
