Hiya, my name is Bekah! I am an 18 year old university student who has a lot of experience and loves working with children. I am offering a babysitting service for Cardiff. My Experience
I have experience working in a nursery where I looked after children of many ages. I gained a lot of skills from working in a nursery such as, ensuring safety of all children in my care, carrying out activities suitable for the ages of children, preparing light meals, cleaning and tidying the rooms that have been used, communicating with parents in relation to their children, providing first aid to any child who requires it and following company policies in relation to safeguarding. I enjoyed working there as I gained bonds with the children I looked after, parents of the children as well as staff.
I babysit where I have provided various activities with children such as arts and crafts, reading, playing a range of games, helping with homework and more. I always encourage children to develop their skills and creativity whilst also entertaining them as much as possible. I am an organised person and enjoy cleaning so would be very comfortable and encoraged to help around the house. I love to get to know the children I look after whilst also communicating with parents.
I have two younger sisters myself, one being in primary school so have looked after her on countless occasions, helped with homework, made food and love spending time with them. I am able to look after children of various ages because of my experience.
In my spare time I love to socialise with friends and family. I enjoy going on walks, reading, painting and drawing.
My Qualifications
I achieved a Health and Social Care GCSE grade. I have achieved a diploma in an Art and Design Course in college. I am currently undertaking a fashion design course in university.
