My Summary

My Experience

I come from a big family and have 2 younger cousins who I regularly babysat when they were little, and I also worked with children aged 6-14 for 5 years in a summer camp setting. These experiences enabled me to learn how to care for young people and taught me strategies which I can use to help children with homework, as well as provide creative games that help them learn in a fun environment.
I also provided tutoring to younger students in my home country of Hungary.

I have excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication in three languages: I speak Hungarian and English fluently, and I have an undergraduate degree in Italian. I'm confident in helping children learn these languages if desired.
I'm perceptive and empathetic, and I notice if someone is having a rough time or feels uncomfortable. I volunteered at a crisis hotline for 3 years, which taught me how to listen actively and support people with different needs.

My Qualifications

University of Exeter - BA International Relations and Modern Languages, with Proficiency in Spoken Italian (graduated in 2022)
University of Sussex - MA Human Rights (2023-24)

I received first aid training but I don't have qualifications.

My Availability

I'm flexible with my availability and always happy to adapt to your family's needs.
I'm primarily looking for ad-hoc weekday evening and weekend babysitting opportunities, but I am open to other arrangements as well.
