My Summary

My Experience

I have multiple years of volunteering at my local nursery where I helped caretakers look after young children from ages 1 through to 5. Here, I helped feed, change and play with the kids whilst making sure they were all safe and happy. I have also volunteered at an underprivileged primary school where I helped children, whose parents could not pick them up after school straight away, with homework. Here I worked with slightly older children of primary school age, I engaged them with their homework by encouraging them to read books with me and helping them with solving problems. I learned here how to keep the children engaged and encouraged when it comes to tasks so they do not become burnt out or unhappy. I volunteered in the ANSAR program where I was a caretaker at a kids club for a two weeks. Here I worked with toddlers where I planned activities to do with them which kept them active and happy. I looked after them during meal times, ensuring all of the children were always accounted for and all of their needs were met.

My Qualifications

I have a first aid training qualification from St Andrews first aid. Here I completed a first aid course. During my volunteering in the ANSAR program I received training in child safeguarding and completed this course. I have 5 A's in Highers - Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Business, English. I also have 3 predicted A's in Advanced Highers - Maths, Chemistry, Biology.

My Availability

As I am currently not in school I am free all of the time and I am also available for emergency babysitting.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £9.00 per hour

I'm more than happy to work for minimum £8 an hour or upwards!
