About Me
My name is Michelle and I am a mom to 3 beautiful grown-up children, and a nanny to a 7 year old girl and a 8 month old baby boy, so apart from being extremely lucky I am also completely up to date with all the current information and advice for babies and young children from medical and health advice and not forgetting the latest characters young children love to learn from . I am also up to date with the current curriculum being taught
I have always worked with children from preschool children all the way to high school
And in jobs that weren’t school based they still involved working with children … I was lucky enough to play the role of Mrs.Claus and run a bakery - that was just magical!
I’m extremely fit and active, and love the outdoors - wellies & puddles, making daisy chains , or looking for the prettiest frosty cobwebs and collecting conkers.
My home is a fun and safe environment for playing and learning and completely child friendly. We have had a soft play / safe play area built in our home, and role play area
I have an enhanced DBS, a degree in Health studies , and I am OFSTED registered
Most of all I’m kind, caring, and passionate about children being children ,and learning while having fun in an environment they enjoy being in
I believe it a privilege to be part of any child’s life
My Experience
I have worked at a primary school and a high school , with all mixed ability children including SEN
I have looked after not only my own 3 children, family and friends from a newborn to teen, and now my grandchildren
I have also done emergency fostering for a friends little girl while her Mom was in hospital for 7 months
I have my enhanced DBS and
I am registered with OFSTED

Michelle has recently become my childminder for my 10 month old. My daughter is at a stage of being weary around strangers but my little girl has been very content with Michelle. Michelle has been fantastic with my daughter and with putting me at ease as going back to work and finding someone reliable and trustworthy enough to look after my daughter was a huge nerve-wracking step! But I am so glad I picked Michelle, who has tried to keep to my daughter’s routine, communicates with me well, and was kind enough to send me updates while I’m working to put my mind at ease. Cannot recommend enough - she is such a lovely kind-hearted lady.
