About Me
As a family we are very active and sociable, I am often out and about with the baby visiting friends and family. We are keen that the baby spends time in a fun-filled, relaxed and easy-going environment and we’d love to work with someone who can be an extension of us in this way. He loves people and being part of things but he also has a softer side and sometimes just want to chill and have lots of cuddles, he’s a little softie!
My Requirements
Child:
Boy, 5 months
Contracted days and hours:
August to September 2024: 3 days a week (Mon – Weds), 09:00 – 18:00
September to October 2024: 4 days a week (Mon – Thurs), 09:00 – 18:00
October 2024 to March 2025: 5 days a week (Mon – Fri), 09:00 – 18:00
Potential to extend beyond March 2025
We appreciate that starting at 3 days a week is not ideal for everyone, we’re happy to talk this through and be flexible if required.
Start:
August 2024
Overview:
We are looking for a fun-filled, easy-going nanny to support with looking after our baby boy as I transition back to work. Someone that is playful and creative but also dedicated to the baby’s everyday growth and development so that he can learn and grow in a safe, fun-loving and relaxed environment.
He is a very easy baby with no additional support requirements. We would like to find someone who has experience with babies, weening (as from 6 months (September) he will start on solids), establishing a routine and helping with sleep.
Ideally we’d like to find someone local or with good knowledge of the local area (Brixton / Herne Hill) for taking him out and about to local baby classes, playgroups and days out so that he can socialise with other babies. As stated in ‘contracted days’, we initially need support 3 days a week, ramping to 4 and then 5 days a week from October when I will return full time.
Family:
My husband and I both work full time (although I will be part time as I transition back after mat leave). Prior to mat leave I would travel a lot for work, it is unclear if this will continue upon my return but it is something that any potential nanny will need to bear in mind as, whilst I’m away, some household support requirements may be required.

Responsibilities:
• Help with morning routine – getting dressed / ready for the day
• Household tasks related to the baby e.g. laundry
• Meal preparation for the baby once he starts weening (I plan to do most of this myself, but occasional help might be required if I am traveling)
