I am 19 years of age and I have a passion for childcare, having experience with foster children from a young age and offering volunteering support at a nursery and a riding school for children with additional needs. I am professional, courteous and an effective communicator whilst also being kind, fun and bubbly. I have a passion for theatre, having performed on stage. I have a full clean driving license and use of a vehicle. I am reliable, punctual and flexible in-between study. Due to my vast experience in providing customer care I have had the opportunity to be exposed to a diverse range of individuals to which I am empathetic and open to education. At home I am responsible for a dog and a cat who I enjoy taking on walks. I enjoy the outdoors and exploring, fitness, reading, cooking, travelling and crafts.
My Experience
I am currently studying paediatric nursing at Northumbria University, having just completed my first year. I believe studying paediatric nursing has given me an excellent foundation in childcare during which I have accompanied and assisted in health visiting appointments and A&E departments this has given me an understanding of child developmental milestones, effective communication and care. I previously worked at McDonalds, this has helped me to develop a range of inter professional skills, provide customer satisfaction and to deal with a variety of customer situations.
My Qualifications
I am fully DBS cleared. I am an undergraduate Paediatric Nursing Student. I am trained in basic first aid and life support. Three A-levels and 12 GCSE's.
My Availability
I am fully available immediately and not returning to my studies until the middle of September, I would still have availability upon my return for discussion.
