My Summary
About Me
I am a happy, positive person with a laid back personality, I am creative, enjoy a variety of water based activities mainly sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding. I also love being outside, and have recently discovered geocaching.
I have 2 grown up children of my own (23yrs & 12yrs) and enjoy a close family network.
I have grown up around a vast range of animals and adore them.
For past 15 years I have been involved in scouting as a leader for sea scouts
I will always try things at least once and believe in the saying 'you don't know, until you try'
My Experience
I have been working with children professionally for 29 years, since leaving college. I have worked as a private nanny, in a private nursery. I have also set up and managed an after school club setting. I'm currently working in a school setting which I have done for the past 15 years. I work within Senco, as a 1.2.1 with children who have a variety of different needs and abilities.
One of my skills is being able to stay calm and patient. I am also able to think on my feet and adjust the learning to the individual child's needs.
I also teach every day as a H.L.T.A
For past 15 plus years I have been involved in scouting, before this I was a rainbow leader in the girl guides. For past 10year plus I have I led a beaver scout colony as part of a sea scout group and regularly support our sea scouting section as a leader, which also includes weekly meetings, competitions, occasional camp and lots of fun.

My Availability
As the school I work at (in WD3/Croxley area) is changing our working hours I will be finishing at 3pm so I am looking at taking some after school employment as an after school nanny.
I would prefer to only work maximum of 3 days and to finish by latest 6.30pm - for the right family there can be some flexibility.
A family with animals is welcomed.
I do have my own children, so if required to work during the school holidays my 12yr old would also be with me.
