About Me
I am a bubbly and outgoing young professional who is extremely passionate about the work I do. I currently work in a safeguarding role with vulnerable young people aged between 5-25 so have experience working with all ages and high/ complex needs. Not only do I have a great track record of building relationships with young people, I have a full driving license and am clean, tidy and ensure all the work I do is to a good standard.
I am looking to support a family/ families with babysitting around my full time role. I am available on evenings and weekends with some flexibility around hours as I manage my own diary.
My Experience
I worked in a residential children’s home for two years with children that are severely autistic and have a variety of complex additional needs such as attachment disorder and being visually impaired.
I then spent a year working with children at risk of being sexually exploited. Currently I am working with children in a safeguarding role that are impacted by child protection, domestic abuse and parental substance misuse. The work I do is around building resilience, keeping safe, advocacy, harm reduction and emotional support.
