I am a 19-year-old university student passionate about working with and looking after children. I attended Aylesbury High School for 7 years but am currently studying History and Politics at the University of Warwick, entering the 2nd year of my course in September. I enjoy walking, cooking, gardening and reading in my free time. I would describe myself as an extroverted, bubbly and outgoing person who is approachable and likes to have fun.
My Experience
I have had ample experience working with children, I have babysat on and off since I was 13 which I enjoyed. In the previous 2 years, I worked as an academic tutor for children aged 3 to 16, specialising in KS2, 11+ and GCSE. In addition, in my tutoring work, I often worked with SEN children of different ages and helped in activities such as speech therapy. Furthermore, during my last two years of secondary school, I provided English lessons to Year 5 students once a week as a part of my school's Primary Outreach programme, which was incredibly insightful and furthered my love for working with children.
My Qualifications
As mentioned before, I have been a qualified tutor for years, and I am more than capable and comfortable providing lessons and teaching to children of various ages.
My Availability
As I am on summer break, I have almost full availability except for overnight stays.
