About Me
I'm a friendly, encouraging A-Level Politics & Philosophy Tutor and recent Master's graduate with a flexible schedule ready to offer some help over the summer break. I practice a problem-posing teaching method, with a deep belief that children learn best when they are the creators of their educative experience. This means instead of lecturing at my students, I encourage them to take ownership of their learning and try to reach answers through their own methods. I also offer childcare services, with years of babysitting experience and four wonderful nephews aged 0-6 years.
My Experience
I've been teaching A-Level students at a SEND school for a year and a half, whilst completing my Master's in Legal & Political Theory. I specialised in the philosophy of education, and have substantial experience working with university access programmes, so am able to help with applications and overall encouragement to achieve post-sixth form goals. I am happy to support younger children with various aspects of the curriculum.
