I am looking for a childminder/s who can help look after our lovely 10 year old son with asd. My son- Alan is a happy boy, energetic and fit. Loves to hug and loves to eat. Smiles a lot. Looking for someone who has an experience with children with asd. Who will also help him to develop better his skills. Help also with his speach and social interactions. Now during the summer he is off the school and needs much more attention and as I am working as well it's a bit harder for me to be in 2 places at same time.
I do therapy myself as well whenever I can and we do go to forests, parks, trips often.
However we need a help.
His grandmother helps us to look after Alan but she is 70 year old and not having so much energy to help him to explore in parks etc( Alan is full of energy and loves to be outside ) after a good running he gets calmer and relaxed. He loves trips, songs, trampoline, bikes, reading stories, basketball, absolutely
loves swimming pools.
My Requirements
Looking for a childminder who will come and take my child out at least 3 days a week like 10- 3/4 pm or any similar time. Need ASAP. After summer break will still need some days after school. Someone happy and calm who knows how to help children with needs and help with their progress too. It can be also childminders group but would preferr if someone could collect my child from my home and bring him back afterwards.
