Hi, my name is Georgia and I'm 23 years old :) I'm a part-time medical student with lots of experience in child-care and I really love caring for children enabling me to provide an engaging and enjoyable environment for your child/children. I also love listening to music, dancing, travelling and being in nature. I hope people would say I'm kind, fun and responsible.
My Experience
I have worked with children in many different settings. I have worked with children with additional needs, including looking after a little girl with cerebral palsy and also looking after two boys who are non-verbal and autistic with high support needs. These were both pre-arranged temporary roles over a few months. Additionally, I was a secondary teacher for a year in Guyana, with sole charge of 50 students, ranging from 11-18 years old. I have also worked as a scout leader, for 2 years taking groups of children of ages 9-12 on outings. Finally, I have been a free-lance science tutor for 8 years.
My Qualifications
I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology (2:1) and I am currently in my 5th year of my medical degree. I have 3 A-Levels (3 A*s) and 11 GCSEs (10 A*s and 1A). I also have an International Volunteering Qualification.
My Availability
I am available full-time from mid-August until the beginning of November. After this I am available part-time.
