My Summary
About Me
I am starting at the University of Leeds in September and am looking for some babysitting/nannying work during my time here. I am active and outgoing and have been doing small scale babysitting since the age of 12/13 but later changed to larger scale babysitting and nannying from the age of 15. As outlined in my experience, I can cook, tidy and more! I do not yet have my driver's license but am looking to learn to drive once arriving at Leeds.
I play football and love to read as well as having experience playing both violin and piano. I Zalsohave done both GCSE and A Level Spanish. My conversational level is quite good allowing me to converse and also tutor and teach primary, secondary and GCSE level Spanish.
I have negotiable rates for wrap around and weekend stay overs.
My Experience
I have had regular experience with both boys and girls between the ages of newborn and 14 for the last 3-4 years.
Part of my role has consisted of:
- Doing school pickup and drop off
- Taking them to and collecting them from various activities including: football training,
gymnastics and other clubs
- Cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner for them, feeding them and preparing snacks
- Putting them to bed
- Playing with them and tidying up around the house (toys, dishes, etc)
- I have also taken them for days out to parks, the cinema and out for meals.
- Spending entire days with children both t home and out of the house
I have experience with neurodiverse children - I have spent large amounts of times with children with ADHD but I am more than open to learning about other conditions.
I have had experience with teaching children different skills - such as telling the time, writing their names, learning new words and their meanings, teaching them phrases, numbers and colours in Spanish. I have also had experience with helping both primary and secondary school children with their homework. I have stayed over on a couple of weekends at one of my family's houses whilst the parents were away.
I did A level Spanish and have quite a good conversational level; this means that I am able to help to teach children or even speak to them in Spanish if desired or required. I am also available to tutor primary school, secondary school and GCSE level Spanish.
I play football and have some experience with one to one sessions with primary aged children.
My Qualifications
I have 10 GCSEs and 3 A levels. I have a large level of experience for my age. I am willing to provide references and contact to previous families that I have worked with.
My Availability
I am starting university in September and do not yet have my schedule though I am open to different types of work/different childcare opportunities. Once I have my schedule I will be able to better understand and tailor my availability
