About Me
I've been looking after children/teenagers with physical/learning difficulties since the summer of 2022 at my workplace named LUPS, and I'm hoping to improve my skills by learning new and different things while caring for your child.
My Experience
There are the pros & cons below that I will be listing.
Pros -
I will provide fun & entertainment to keep your child entertained, knowing you'll come back to the same child's happy face when you left.
If your child has a learning disability, such a non-verbal and they know Makaton, I will be able to communicate with your child by using this.
Cons -
If your child is wearing nappies, I am unable to do this has this is something that I've not learned nor come across in the stage of my job.
My Qualifications
I have been a certified Safeguarding Holder for Children and Young People with SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities) since July 2022. I had taken a training course so that I could keep any children, particularly those with special needs and disabilities safe.
Since joining LUPS (Let Us Play Scheme), I have gained several stages of different customer service. I am easy-going with being communicative.
My Availability
Currently, as of writing this, I am on summer break for college until early September. My availability will remain this way until I am back for college.
