I am 55 and have a wealth of experience including having 2 grown children and a grandson with SEN. My brother who is 51 has Downs Syndrome. I am about to study Psychology and child development after the experience my daughter and I have had with my Grandson has ignited a passion to help and support neurodivers children and you adults. My Experience
From the age of four I have had experience of a sibling in the family with SEND, along with all its challenges. My Grandson who is 13 was diagnosed with dyslexia 4 years ago and ADHD and autism last year. I have played a very key role in his upbringing as my daughter works full time and we reside together. Over the last 5 years we have fought a broken system to try and educate him which has made me more determined to study and work with SEND
