About Me
**Welcome to Rising Robyn's! **
I'm delighted to welcome you to my home-based nursery, where children thrive in a nurturing, family-like environment. My mission is to foster creativity, compassion, kindness, resilience, and adaptability in every child, helping them grow into confident and responsible members of our community. I believe these values are the foundation for developing happy, confident learners ready to navigate our ever-changing world.
Communication with caregivers is a priority for me, and I regularly celebrate children's achievements through charts and positive reinforcement. In my nursery, every child's uniqueness is cherished, and a sense of belonging and mutual respect is fostered within our community.
To enrich our shared environment, I offer various resources and experiences, including various playing and exploring zones through the home. I hold a full UK driving license with insurance and car seats, enabling us to explore beyond the nursery. Located near bus and train links, my nursery also provides easy access to a wider range of learning opportunities.
Though our garden is still under renovation, it is secured to ensure safety during operating hours. My husband and I have put great effort into renovating our home with childminding in mind, creating spaces that are safe and stimulating.
An extra special aspect of our nursery is our beautiful, calming house cat, Skye. She is gentle and caring, providing a soothing presence for the children. Skye enjoys spending time with the children but also has the option to retreat upstairs for her own quiet time when she needs it, ensuring a balance between interaction and her own well-being.
My Experience
What sets me apart is my combination of professional expertise and personal experience. I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through my Primary PGCE and have extensive experience as a teacher and nursery practitioner. As a mother of a three-year-old, I am deeply attuned to each child's emotional needs and am committed to fostering their curiosity and independence in a safe environment.
Families I’ve worked with in schools and nurseries often speak highly of the nurturing, dedication, and positive relationships I build with both children and parents. Being close to a local school makes my setting convenient for many families.
I am registered a childminding agency with excellent support for both families and childminders. They have an app which is an all in one application that includes things like the children's observations, logs, contact and secured information along with many other helpful sections.

My Availability
I offer flexible care Monday to Friday, between 8 AM and 6 PM, with earlier starts available upon request to accommodate your family's needs. My settling-in procedures are tailored to each family, with three free sessions to ensure a smooth transition for your child. While I currently have no bookings, there has been significant interest, and I look forward to welcoming new families soon.
