About Me

I’m 32 and have 2 children of my own, a 3 year old and a 15 year old. I’m currently at university studying to be a children’s nurse where I’m starting my second year. I have a passion for working with children of all ages.

I’m a fun, caring and loving person and enjoy getting creative with arts and crafts, imagination play, dress ups, singing & dancing, baking, reading and general playing. I like Disney and avengers myself and am fully aware of the things children like to watch on YouTube or tv!
I’m outgoing and can get on the level with children of all ages.

I have worked in youth centres with teenagers before and have babysat for toddlers/pre schoolers when I was younger. I have also cared for my sisters, nieces and my friends children for a long time.
I have experience in the youth centre and during placements of working with neurodivergent children, children with additional needs and children with learning disabilities.

I have experience with my own children and the children I have worked with on placements at university.
I have worked in healthcare since 2019 and have a passion for looking after people.

I'm also comfortable around pets and in the kitchen and I’m happy to do some light chores if needed.

I am paediatric and adult first aid trained, water first aid trained, suicide first aid trained, and I have a current DBS. I know some makaton and I am currently learning more, I will also be starting a British sign language course in the near future.
