About Me
Hi I’m Alison, I’ve been a registered childminder for 20 years now. I have also raised 4 children of my own who are now all adults. I am Nicma registered and have completed all core training which gets updated as required. I have recently moved to the Portadown area after living in Lurgan all my life so I’m looking forward to the change and what the future brings.
I provide a home from home childminding setting in a safe and warm environment. I have a seperate playroom within my home and plenty of outdoor space with lots of toys to play on. I love getting out to local parks, soft play, role play centres etc.
My Experience
Like I mentioned I’ve been working as a registered childminder for 20 years now and before this I minded my sisters children while raising my own family. I have worked with children from around 9 months old right up to age 12 so I am well catered for all their different needs.
I also have a granddaughter who is Autistic so I have some hands on experience with a child with special needs.
My Qualifications
I have got my Quality first qualification which I completed through Nicma, I complete all mandatory training and keep it up to date. I’ve also recently completed Solihull training which is training covering infant brain development and its relevance to mental health and child development.
My Availability
I am registered for 6 children alltogether 3 under 5s and 3 overs.
Currently my over 5s are full.
I currently have 2 under 5 full time space available.

My Fees

My fees are currently £5 per hour for full time spaces. £5.50 per hour part time. Food included in this price.
