Three Bears Childcare is run from my home and we are based in a quiet estate in Marshfield. The children have a dedicated playroom, where they have access to a range of age-appropriate and learning materials. The children will also have access to my open plan living and dining room, as well as a secure back garden, filled with a range of toys. The children will also benefit from outdoor playtime including local walks, park visits, soft-play and local amenities, ensuring that every day is stimulating, engaging and varied.
My Experience
As a mum of three children, two girls (high-school and pre-school) and one boy (primary school), I completely understand that no two children are the same. Separate to my experience as a mum and with babies and children of family and friends, whilst studying my degree, I worked as a volunteer in a Primary School in Cardiff, supporting the teachers from nursery to year 6 as a teaching assistant. I also created an English Buddy session where I provided additional lessons to children who required additional support with their English work and to a class of children where English was not their first language.
I am a registered Childminder with C.I.W, hold a valid First Aid certificate and hold a valid Safeguarding Group C certificate.
