About Me
Hi my name is Julie and I am a loving and caring individual and I have always worked with children. I think one of the reasons that is, is because I am able to build a rapport and relate to children sometimes even more than adults. Maybe this is because I am young at heart and remember what it is like to be a child. I am able to see the world from their view and try my utmost to meet their needs and bring a happy, fun caring environment where they will learn and thrive. Some people call it a calling or a niche and I would agree. People say you either get along with children or animals, my preference has always been children hence why I have always worked with them. I have a son and brought him up as a single parent. He is now 32 and I have two grandchildren. You can never express the deep love and bond that you have with your grandchildren. I love them dearly and they are now age 6 and 7. They light up the room when I see them.
My Experience
I have over 30 years of experience working in schools from nursery age up to 16 years. I have recently been in a nanny role for a 17 month old, 4 year old and 11 year old. My experience as a foster carer, residential childcare officer and family support worker have given me copious amounts of experience over the years. If you are looking for a nurturing, caring environment, with 1-1 support, 2-3 children at the most whilst with toddlers. Then you must come and visit Morpeth Munchkins Childminding.
