My name is Fernanda, I am a professional childcare and nanny with experience working as a babysitter and private nursery settings.
I am originally from Brazil, I have been living in England since 2019. I have experience as a cleaner and housekeeper in addition to my qualification in childcare.
I have Paediatric first aid training and update DBS check, also Safeguarding, child protection and baby training.
I have experience with children between 10months to 7 years old and I will bring a warm, kindness, energetic, caring nurturing and supportive approach to your family. Children’s safety and wellbeing are my priority and I will always be vigilant and protect them from any possible danger.
I am deeply committed to make children’s lives enjoyable and health, I am a playful and thoughtful person who loves to spend time with children, planing and creating engaging conversations and activities for them to develop their skills in life, such as self confidence and self esteem.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going out for dinner or lunch. I enjoy drinking cappuccino on the weekend while looking outside my window, reflecting on my life and having some quiet and enjoyable time with myself. I love going to the countryside to visit my sister and children. And also, watching a good movie with my husband on Sunday evening.
My hobbies include cooking, baking, dancing and watching movies, as well as going out to do grocery shopping.
Furthermore, I am a reliable,creative, polite, organised and respectful person who enjoys being around people and helping others.
My Experience
I have been working in private childcare settings since 2021. I started as a nursery assistant and did my qualification in level 2 childcare practitioner.
Throughout my career I have been working with children between 10 months old up to 5 years old. I have also worked as a babysitter occasionally and have been involved in many other activities including reading books for children as a volunteer, looking after family members and helping with cleaning and housekeeper duties for families and business.

My Availability
I am currently employed full time in a nursery setting, however I am looking for a full time position with the right family.
I am available for part-time, after school pick up, evening babysitting, weekends, half term and holidays.
