Hi, my name is Josie Dobeyn & I am a 23 year old, Masters student.
I grew up on a farm in South Africa and went to an all girls boarding school before beginning my undergraduate degree in International Business just outside of Cape Town. I am currently doing a masters degree in International Marketing at SOAS University of London.
My family & friends describe me as a happy, down-to-earth, caring & responsible person. I love to play both educational and fun games, as well as to be outdoors and active as much as possible.
My Experience
I have had 3 years of experience as an au pair for a family of 3 girls who were aged between 3 and 9 when I started. I had the responsibility of collecting them from school, making them lunch and tutoring them with their homework. I also had the responsibility of taking them to, and being involved in their extra curricular activities such as swimming lessons, choir and gymnastics. The family's reference letter stated; "Josie has been such an asset to our family, she is reliable and had a fantastic attitude and approach to her duties. She is a self starter who takes direction and guidance well which stands testament to her maturity. She is confident with a vibrant personality and we believe, a fantastic role model to our children. Josie takes initiative and is confident in her abilities whilst remaining acutely aware of surroundings which allows us comfort in her caring for three busy little people on her own! Josie has exceptional work ethic and communication skills. She has folded well into our family environment whilst always remaining professional."
Apart from this, I have had many experiences being a babysitter for families & friends in my area at home, as well as being involved in children's swimming lessons.

Apart from my years of experience, I have also studied educational psychology in specific relation to children's education, as I have a passion for learning & quality education.
