About Me
Within my setting I will be able to offer you and your child a homely experience, where your child will be included, loved, respected and feel like part of the family.
I will be providing activities to allow the children to develop and progress, following the seven areas of learning in the EYFS curriculum. Activities will be child-led as well as adult-led each week. Children will experience many different activities including dancing, baking, messy play, role play, outdoor gross motor skills, and much, much more. Regular trips out will be made within the local area as we have a wonderful outdoor area on our doorstep, as well as some further afield trips to farms or museums etc.
My Experience
I’m a Qualified Primary School Teacher. I have taught & worked with all ages of primary school children; however I have mainly taught in the EYFS department (over nine years in the Reception class; the last five in the local area). Prior to becoming a teacher, I was an au pair, nursery assistant/nurse, room leader at a preschool, teaching assistant, supply instructor and most importantly stay at home mum until my son was two years old. It’s fair to say I can’t imagine life without being around children, supporting their growth and discovering their true potential.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 Award in Homebase Childcare and Qualified Teacher Status with paediatric first aid, safeguarding, and food hygiene certificates. I have attended several trainings on supporting children with speech and language difficulties (e.g. Speech Language and Communication Disorders, Eklan, etc.), positive behaviour management, promoting children's wellbeing, supporting children's development in all areas of learning, White Rose Maths and Science, Twinkl Phonics, Read Write Inc., Poetry Basket, Baby yoga, and many more.
My Availability
My usual opening hours will be 8:00am- 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
The daily fee is £50. I also offer funded places where government rates apply.
