My Summary
About Me
I’ve spent the past 20 years working with children of all ages, both as a nanny and a qualified art teacher. As a mum of three teenagers, I’ve learned a thing or two about balancing family life, work, and everything in between. I know how important it is to create a space where kids feel supported, inspired, and excited to learn. I’m passionate about bringing that sense of joy and creativity into everything I do.
I love the outdoors, enjoy cooking for my family, and am always up for a fun adventure. Over the last eight years, I’ve had the amazing experience of living in Malaysia, where I worked at an Australian International School and explored different cultures. Now, I’m settled in London and ready to bring my energy, experience, and love for children into a family setting. Whether it's a creative project, a school run, or just lending a hand around the house, I’m here to offer warmth, support, and a lot of fun along the way!
My Experience
I am a fully qualified Australian teacher with over 20 years of experience as an educator across a range of settings. Alongside my teaching career, I’ve worked as a nanny in Malaysia, Canada, and Australia, gaining invaluable experience with children of all ages. With an international background and a deep commitment to child development, I’m now looking to shift my focus to a one-on-one family role in London, where I’ll bring my teaching skills, creativity, and nurturing approach. I have a working visa, International police clearance and having just arrived in London I will complete my First Aid certification apply for my DBS certificate ensuring full readiness to support your family’s needs.
My Qualifications
I hold a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Visual Arts, providing me with a strong foundation in both educational theory and creative arts. Additionally, I have completed Certificate III and IV in Education Support, equipping me with specialised skills to support diverse learning needs. My qualifications are complemented by Teacher Registration in Australia, ensuring recognised teaching standards and professional compliance. I also maintain International Police Check clearance, verifying my suitability and commitment to safe and trusted educational environments across various countries.
My Availability
Ideally I am seeking a three-day-a-week role, ideally with full-day hours, and I’m also available for babysitting on weekends and weeknights however I’m open to various scheduling options, though some flexibility during school holidays would be ideal so I can spend time with my own children.
