Hello, my name is Emma! I've been caring for children for over 10 years! I love art, animals, and being outdoors. I enjoy teaching and I recently completed my Master's. I am enthusiastic and motivated to provide not just high-quality care, but teach, encourage, and empower your children!
My Experience
I began working with children as a summer camp counselor when I was only 14. Since then, I have worked as a babysitter for a number of years where I also prepared food, changed nappies, and tidied up. I have worked with children as young as 6 months all the way up to 15 years old. As a babysitter, I like to use child-directed learning such as exploring outside, developing fine-motor skills, and art! Unlike a typical babysitter, I like to create fun activities and hands-on lessons rather than sit and watch telly. I look forward to meeting you and your children and providing them specialised care tailored to their needs!
My Qualifications
I have been working with children for 10 years. I have both CPR and First Aid certification. I have also completed both my Bachelor's and Master's in Linguistics with a focus on child development. I am trained in Montessori teaching and was raised in a Montessori background. I am comfortable cooking, cleaning, and bathing children.
