My Experience

I often take on the responsibility of caring for my mother's friends' children and a child that my mother fosters, serving as the secondary carer in case of emergencies.

-The child my mother fosters is 13 years old, and while he is more independent, I ensure his well-being by checking in on him regularly. We go on store trips together, and I make sure he eats well and maintains a tidy room. We also spend time discussing his interests and hobbies, such as cars and Legos, which helps build a strong, supportive relationship.

-Additionally, I have taken care of younger children, particularly when my mother and her friend went on holiday for eight days, as well as more of my mother's friends. During this period, I was responsible for the full-day care of 9 and 10-year-old siblings. My duties included preparing breakfast, taking them to school, picking them up, and providing after-school meals. I also organized and participated in various fun and educational activities, such as trips to the playground, drawing sessions, doing homework together, and playing games.

-All of this applies to a 7-year-old I have also frequently babysat. Overall, these caregiving responsibilities have not only allowed me to develop a deep sense of empathy and dedication but have also equipped me with practical skills that I am eager to apply in my future endeavours.

My Qualifications

High school and college education.
Good grades in all subjects including Mathematics and English.
Higher Education in Art.
