My Summary

My Experience

With extensive years of childcare and also having 4 children of my own, I have been able to expand my knowledge and care for a wide range of children some with learning disabilities and other with early years development. Throughout the years, I have learned the ability of connection with young children through non-verbal language (I.e body language, gestures etc.) and how this can strengthen the bond of a child and carer. This has spiked my interest in sign language in most recent years, and is a skill I am developing now extending my ability to communicate with children.
I have had a positive experience not only with looking after a child, but a big group at the same time whether it be at a children’s camp or in my house providing a safe space and environment in and outdoors for them. I have received positive feedback over the years and been able to witness the development and growth of many I still stay in contact and remember me till today.

My Qualifications

I hold a degree in Health and Social Care and possess extensive experience in the field. In addition to my academic qualifications, I have completed all mandatory training, including safeguarding, first aid, and other essential certifications. My background equips me with the skills to provide compassionate, high-quality care, ensuring the well-being and safety of individuals in various healthcare settings

My Availability

I work in a nursery Monday to Friday so I am very much available in the evenings and most weekends
