I’m 22 years old. Childcare and education is something I have always been passionate about even as a child myself.
My Experience
I started my childcare journey with a Level 2 Apprenticeship in a nursery setting, during my 2.5 years here I worked in all rooms but mainly focused in the baby room and preschool room. Once I completed my Level 2 in early years I moved in to complete my Level 3 Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting. I spent this time working with the Alternative Curriculum group which was a smaller SEND group within the school. While I was here I lead phonic groups, spelling interventions, ASD interventions and PSHE lessons. I’ve had experience with children who have ASD, ADHD, global developmental delay, SEMH needs, Down’s syndrome and more.
