My Experience

I used to babysit a four-year-old girl in her home, which was both challenging and
rewarding, and I took pride in earning her family’s trust through my reliability and
maturity. I planned and created age-appropriate activities to keep her engaged
demonstrating my sense of responsibility and attentiveness to her needs. I thoroughly
enjoyed this job, as I embraced the responsibility and the opportunity to take on a
leadership role. Additionally, with my mum working as a childminder, I occasionally
assisted her by setting up activities and engaging in play with the children.
This experience allowed me to develop further skills in caring for children and
deepened my understanding of how to create a safe, enjoyable environment
for them.
For the past 4 years i have attend fortnightly training sessions to maintain my first aid certification as i was previously a lifeguard. Through working here, I developed essential teamwork and life-saving skills, which proved crucial when a young girl fell unconscious. I stayed calm under pressure and administered CPR, ultimately saving her life.

NPLQ (First aid, lifesaving techniques), DBS, Safeguarding, Coaching level 1, coaching with disabilities fa qualification

My Availability

although i am studying at Cardiff met i am available most days in the week.
