About Me
I have always loved caring for children and have three of my own. They are all adults now and have their own families and lives but I still remember the time when they were young as the happiest time of my life.
I enjoy keeping fit and am a member of the Guttmann Centre and I also enjoy The Ramblers and have been a member for the past 14 years. I regularly walk at weekends.
Currently, I am attending German classes at Quarrendon Adult Education centre because my daughter teaches the language in Germany and I am 1/4 German.
My Experience
I qualified as a Paediatric Nurse in 1987 and worked at Great Ormond Street hospital until I married and moved to Aylesbury in 1989. Since then, I have worked on the Children's ward at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and I currently work for Florence Nightingale Hospital providing respite care for children with life limiting illnesses. I have done the job for 43 years now with only short maternity breaks and I would now like to find a local job with reduced hours.
