About Me
Hello, my name is Chiamaka, I am a Registered Childminder based in Ashford. I live with my husband who is a medical doctor and we have an adorable daughter, no pets for now. I have lots of toys and age appropriate equipment to aid children’s learning and development. I enjoy cooking and baking and hope to provide lots of cooking and fun indoor activities. I do not have a garden for now but will engage the children in lots of outdoor plays and visits as I have a range of activities in my area, like parks, role play centres and soft play areas.
My Experience
As a new childminder in the area my experience has stemmed from volunteering in church as a children communion class coordinator and looking after children of family, friends and neighbours of which I am always given enough credit for. More experiences of course have been gained from looking after my own daughter who is growing beautifully and I hope to share my home with your amazing bundles of joy as well.
My Qualifications
I have certificates in Paediatric First Aid and Safe Guarding Children and have attended a course for EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) training. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
My Availability
I am available Monday - Friday, times to suit the parents. Weekend availabilities are limited, and will be discussed per child and parents. I do not do school pickups and drop-offs.
I offer the funded early educational hours for 2,3 and 4 years olds.
