My Experience

I have an extensive experience working with children. My childcare journey started when I have done a teaching placement last year as a part of my course at Monifieth High School, where I learned about how important it is to treat every child in accordance to their needs, how to make myself liked and understood by children, but most importantly how to understand children and respond to their positively to their feelings. I am also an Assistant Project Worker at Barnardo's and training as a Playleader. My experience working with children with a broad range of disabilities has proven extremely useful as I have dealt with numerous delicate situations and came across a different range of behaviours, some more challenging than others. However, I have learned how to effectively manage delicate situations and behaviours and implemented solutions to prevent them from happening in the future. I am CALMS trained, which regards de-escalation of challenging behaviour through shifting the chid's attention to something else and I am also Children Safeguarding trained which regards spotting signs of abuse in children and dealing with the matters effectively and professionally. Overall, I am a very experienced individual and can provide care for an extensive category of children. I have the essential core skills that it takes to be an effective babysitter: Patience, Positive attitude, Effective time management, De-escalation and shifting attention, Being aware of the child's unique needs. My Availability

Please note that I am in my final year of university. Due to this, my availability will change in January 2025, but my schedule will still remain flexible and I will still be fully available over the weekends.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

My fees are fixed at £10 per hour including overnight.
