During my 2 week voluntary time at Larkhall Primary Campus, I worked with children aged 3-4 years. I gained vital experience in the class setting where I took charge in comprehension time, exploring their interests during playtime and nature seeking on the schools personal adventure grounds.
Skills I achieved from this voluntary placement are:
• Being creative with each child's learning style; which also enabled problem solving and effective communication.

At Union Grove Nursery, I worked as an Early Years Teaching Assistant, focusing on the care and development of babies aged 6 to 12 months.
My responsibilities included:
safeguarding the infants and creating stimulating play environments.
Introduced a variety of sensory activities, such as mirror play and touch exploration through differentiating juxtaposed textures e.g soft and firmer objects, to enhance their sensory development.
