About Me
In 2023 we gave birth to our first child, we love her to bits and she is our world, however she was born premature and has some needs, it takes all our time to look after her. We would be happy for someone to give us a hand and help look after her, so that we can concentrate on our work from home and house chores.
My Requirements
Serena was born premature, and while staying in hospital for 6 months she developed various conditions. She has got hydrocephalus and therefore has VP shunt. She also is not a good eater or sleeper, we are still working on it! She does not know how to drink liquids, most of the liquids go through the NG tube which she has from birth.
Serena will be 2 years old in February, she is very behind in development, so she needs help with learning through play and activities.
We understand this may be overwhelming so we do not expect you to know any of this or know how to deal with Serena's conditions, but if you are willing to give it a try, we will be happy to show and explain. Any help please, we can discuss the compensation. Myself I work from home so will be always around, my wife works part time from the office.
We are looking for someone ideally on Monday and Wednesdays only, or we can swap one day to Thursday.
Would be good to find someone local, who is good with kids and would be happy to help us.
We have already explored nursery and childminder options but Serena is not ready for that. We have also explored various charity options, but they only offer 1-2 hours per week which is too less.
