About Me
(Updated 2024/12/26) My wife and I are looking for someone reliable to help us keep our home clean and tidy. We are expecting our first child soon. Ideally, we'd like someone to come once or twice a week, for a total of about 4 hours per week, and we're hoping to find someone who can commit long-term. We're both university professors.
My Requirements
This role involves housekeeping for the whole house, including:
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, reception, and kitchen,
- hoovering, mopping, and dusting,
- loading/unloading the dishwasher,
- changing bedsheets,
- and generally maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the family.
We are looking for someone attentive to detail, hardworking, reliable, and respectful, and who has had some experience with housekeeping/cleaning.
We are flexible in determining the schedule (8:00-18:00 Tue/Thu/Fri, 10:00-13:00 Sun), but we'd like to keep a fixed schedule. We would like to start with a trial period to ensure a good fit for both parties.
We offer £15.00/hour, cash-in-hand, increasing to £17.00/hour after this trial period. We will provide the necessary materials.
We are open to discussing details further, such as the exact schedule and duties.
The position starts at the end of January.
