About Me
I'm a University of Southampton student studying biochemistry. I love helping people and encouraging others to push eachother to grow the youth so that they can achieve their dreams like I did. I love tutoring kids especially as someone who found out they were dyslexic near the end of their A-Levels and didn't have much help. I would love to use my experience to help others
My Experience
My neighbour at home is a young autistic boy of 15. I went to the sixth form attached to his school and would also help him out whenever I could whether that would be with his school work or in general. I loved to help him and make sure he was safe all the time as well as help encourage him to learn. I'd also take care of him when his parents could not and would do odd babysitting jobs here and there for them whenever I could.
The first college I went to I was also a peer mentor for students and would help tutor the y12's when I was in y13 in maths, biology and chemistry. I was diagnosed dyslexic in y13 near the end of my A-Levels and that made me realise why I wasn't reaching my potential. Since working that out I retrained myself to figure out how to learn with the brain I have and would love to help kids understand how their brains could also work.
I also lived in Germany for a year and am fluent in German but I don't tend to normally do German tutoring as schools can be very particular
My Qualifications
I have completed my A-Levels in Biology (B), Maths (A) and Chemistry (A) in 2024 as well as an A-equivalent in German. I also have achieved a 7 n maths, biology and chemistry as well as a 9 in German in my GCSE's in 2021
My Availability
My availability is based on my university timetable but I am available most evenings and all weekends but never overnight.
